What’s up with your goals? 9 months have already gone by this year!
Have you finished? Are you almost there?
Wait… if you’re anything like the old you, I’m guessing you haven’t even started yet!
Trust me I get it.
Procrastination is something we can all admit to falling victim to on occasions.
Life is hectic and sometimes has you heavily burdened with things you feel like you just have to do. It’s easy to find yourself wishing for more hours in the day so you can catch up on the things you’ve neglected and care about most.
You’ve probably wish you:
- had time for love
- had time to start your business
- could spend more time with your kids
- teach a class
- quit your job
- do more community service
- or research how to buy a house!
There are several things in your life you’ve choosing to ignore. You in no way should be proud of that, but you should at least acknowledge it’s a relevant reality in your life. Simply put, “ignore” is another word for “excuse.”
And like I always say,
“Excuses are nothing more than the little lies you secretly tell yourself and ultimately try to sell to other people.”
Don’t let anyone fool you into believing that life is long; it isn’t. Life is short and I guarantee you this ain’t a dress rehearsal. We only get one chance to make the best of what God has blessed us to experience.
3 Questions to Ask Yourself:
- What in your life has been calling you?
- How long are you going to choose to ignore it?
- What excuses have you’ve been telling yourself that have detoured, deferred or discouraged you from birthing your dreams?
Listen, I understand the voice deep down inside of you that’s gone from a whisper to a wailing scream. There’s been something calling you so loudly, you don’t know how to turn the volume down.
I want you to answer your calling!
This year isn’t over yet; you still have 3 months left!
Have the courage to stop procrastinating and start being proactive about what you know you really want. I’m gonna help you birth that dream one way or another!
You got this!
